For addresses located further than 6 miles from PL15 9S a fee of 50p per extra mile each way will be added to the cost of the service.

For services that are required/requested to start prior to 8am or after 8pm an out of hours fee of £5 will be added to the cost of service.
Katie has looked after my cats on many occasions and I'm always very happy when she does. I know they are in good hands and communication is great. She is flexible and reliable and always goes the extra mile.

I was going away on holiday and was let down by the person who I'd arranged to look after my pets. I needed a pet sitter to come to my home twice a day to look after my 3 pygmy goats and hens. After trying a few pet sitters who were unable to help at short notice, I was given Katie's phone number and to my surprise I already knew Katie as she worked at my vets as a veterinary nurse. Katie visited my home to meet my crazy goats and of course then hens, after taking notes and filling me with confidence, I happily went away and relaxed knowing my fur/feathered babies were in good hands. From then on it was Katie who looked after my animals when I went away.
Katie is caring, kind, gentle and calm because of this the animals love her. Also as a veterinary nurse she is very knowledgeable and is able to deal with any health problems should they arise. Katie goes above and beyond to help. I remember on one occasion I was going to visit my daughter who lives in Spain, I had my 3 dogs booked into kennels and on the very day I was due to take them to the kennels one of my Springer spaniels (Bella) was very sick and was unable to go into kennels. Bella ended up being admitted to the animal hospital and Katie came to my rescue, not only did she look after my goats and hens as arrange, she also looked after Bella once she was discharged from the animal hospital I will always be grateful to Katie for all her help. I would highly recommend Katie to anyone who needed a reliable trustworthy pet sitter. I will really miss Katie now she has moved to Devon, I wish her well in her new ventures.

We booked Katies services primarily to avoid a vet visit for our vet hating old terrier who has terminal anal cancer and needed a bit of a clean up in that area.
Being able to have this done in our home meant a lot less stress and with Katies professional and calm approach she was able to clip and clean the entire area which is very sensitive without too much objection.
He is normally muzzled for any vet visits as he can be a feisty little so and so, and although he wore a muzzle during this visit, we would have been able to do it without, which is a fantastic result.
Katie also cut the nails of our other 4 dogs, taking time to make it a very positive experience for all.
I highly recommend Katie and the services she offers and will certainly book her again when required.

Katie came to our home today & clipped our dogs Dew Claws. She thoroughly put our girl at ease & Lexi loved her. I was particularly worried how she would react but Katie was very professional & really knowledgeable. I don’t think Lexi even realises she had anything clipped at all. I cannot recommend SWVNS highly enough. Katie is not only a wonderful human being, she is professional and incredibly knowledgeable. Her attention to detail is second to none, and I trust her
implicitly with my many animals. Katie researches her work with efficient correspondence, and a 'meet and greet' visit. She takes notes and photos during this visit making sure every aspect of care required is understood. Katie recently cared for my menagerie
during my emergency 8 day visit to the USA. All her duties were brilliantly carried out, she gave great support to my house sitter and friend, both of whom were kindly helping with care. She administered medications and supplements diligently. She stayed longer
than scheduled when she was needed, and extended her duties when my flight home was delayed. Knowing how worried I was about leaving everyone, especially the elderly and sick animals, she sent me full accounts daily, of them all with photographs. I came home

Katie came to my dogs rescue kennels today to clip some claws. She was absolutely amazing. was calm and gentle and took her time so the dogs didn't feel rushed. they are dogs rescued from the
kill shelters in Romania so have their own deep fears but Katie was so kind with them that it was a great success. I would highly recommend her and will certainly be using her from now on.
